Folding Engine Cranes
Folding engine cranes are the retail and garage standard: the legs fold up so the crane stores against a wall between jobs. Our 1 and 2 ton models have a four-position boom with the rating marked at each hole, a long-ram cylinder with overload valve and six casters.
See modelsEngine Levelers
An engine leveler hangs between the crane hook and the engine and lets the operator tilt the engine with a screw handle to match the angle of the bell housing. It is bought with almost every engine crane and ships in a compact carton that fills spare container space.

What buyers inspect
The details importers check first when they sample engine cranes.
-
Safety overload valve on every unit
A factory-set bypass valve stops the ram when the rated load is exceeded – fewer warranty claims and no bent rams in the field.
-
Heavy-gauge base and cylinder
Bases are stamped from thick steel plate and cylinders are precision-honed, so seals last longer and oil stays where it belongs.
-
Chrome-plated ram and pump piston
Hard chrome resists rust and scoring in humid warehouses and workshops, keeping the lift smooth for years, not months.
-
Serrated saddle
Cross-hatched saddles grip the lifting point instead of sliding on greasy chassis rails – the first thing inspectors check.
-
Electrostatic powder coating in-house
Our own powder-coating line gives consistent colour batch after batch, and lets you order your brand colour without paying for outside finishing.
-
Clear rating labels in your language
Capacity, warnings and your logo are printed to your artwork – GS/CE or ASME PASE style label layouts available.
How to choose engine cranes for your market
The questions our sales engineers ask before they quote.
-
Rated capacity is at the shortest boom position
A '2 ton' crane lifts 2 tons with the boom fully retracted and less at each extension. Your label must show all four ratings – ours do, in your language.
-
Folding or fixed legs
Folding cranes are the retail and small-garage standard because they store upright. Fixed-leg cranes are stiffer and reach further for truck engines.
-
Hoist, crane or shop crane – market wording
US buyers search 'engine hoist', UK and Australian buyers 'engine crane', industrial buyers 'shop crane'. We label and write manuals in the term your market uses.
-
The leveler is the add-on that doubles the basket
An engine leveler ships in a small carton, fits in the spare corners of the container and is bought with almost every crane.

Frequently asked questions
What is the MOQ for engine cranes?
10 pcs per model. Engine cranes ship knocked-down in cartons and are usually mixed with levelers, long-ram jacks and shop presses in one container.
Do your cranes fold?
The 1 and 2 ton models fold for storage; 3 ton and industrial models have fixed legs for maximum stiffness.
Is the long-ram cylinder replaceable?
Yes – the cylinder is a standard long ram jack that we also sell separately, so spares are always available.
Do you supply engine levelers?
Yes, 0.5–1 ton levelers with screw adjustment, boxed separately or packed with the crane.
Are your cranes CE certified?
Yes, CE to EN 1494; manuals and labels are adapted for North America and Australia on request.
What is the lead time?
Lead time is from 1 day for stock colours. We confirm the shipping date for your quantity with the quote.
